This policy explains what personal information Cynox Technology ("Cyphon", "we", "us") collects when you use cyphon.in, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle your personal information in accordance with applicable Indian privacy and data-protection laws and regulations, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and, as applicable, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and rules made thereunder.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal information when you use our website or place an order.

1. Information we collect

•         Details you give us: your name, phone number, email address, billing and delivery address, and your GSTIN if you want it on your invoice.

•         Messages: what you send us by chat, email, phone or WhatsApp.

•         Payment details: payments are handled by Razorpay and PhonePe. We do not see or store your full card number, UPI PIN or bank login.

•         Website usage: your device, browser, IP address and the pages you visit, collected through cookies and similar tools.

2. How we use your information

•         To process, ship and deliver your orders, and send you order and delivery updates.

•         To issue GST invoices and keep the records the law requires.

•         To answer your questions and handle replacements, refunds and warranty requests.

•         To verify orders and prevent fraud.

•         To send you offers and updates by email, SMS or WhatsApp. You can stop these at any time (see Section 4).

•         To understand how people use our website and improve it and our ads.

3. Who we share it with

We share only the information each partner needs to do its job:

•         Shopify, which runs our website and stores order details.

•         Payment partners: Razorpay and PhonePe.

•         Shipping partners: Shiprocket (our shipping platform) and courier partners in India, which may include Blue Dart, Tirupati Courier and other available carriers; DHL, UPS and FedEx for international orders. For international orders, customs authorities may also receive delivery details.

•         Customer support tools: our website chat assistant and customer management (CRM) software.

•         Analytics and advertising platforms: Google (Analytics and Ads) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram).

•         Government or law enforcement, when the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies, tracking and marketing messages

•         We use cookies, Google Analytics, Google Ads tracking and the Meta Pixel. They help us see how people use our website and show you relevant ads, including on other websites and apps.

•         You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the website, such as the cart, may not work without them.

•         You can manage personalised ads in your Google and Meta ad settings.

•         We may send you offers and updates by email, SMS or WhatsApp. To stop them, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or tell us by email or WhatsApp. You will still get messages about your orders.

5. How we protect and store your data

•         Our website runs on Shopify and uses SSL encryption.

•         Only team members who need your information to serve you can access it.

•         No system is completely secure. If a data breach affects you, we will inform you as the law requires.

•         We keep your information as long as we need it for orders, support and warranty, and as long as tax and accounting laws require. After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.

•         Some of our partners, such as Shopify, Google and Meta, may store or process data on servers outside India.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to:

•         Tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it.

•         Correct or update your information.

•         Delete your information, unless the law requires us to keep it, such as for tax records.

•         Stop using your information for marketing, or withdraw a consent you gave earlier.

•         Let another person use these rights for you if you are unable to.

To use any of these rights, contact our Grievance Officer (Section 8). If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have the right to pursue remedies available under applicable law.

7. Children

Orders must be placed by an adult or, where permitted, by a parent/guardian on behalf of a minor. Orders for minors must be placed by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest version.

For any question or complaint about your personal information, contact our Grievance Officer. We acknowledge every request within 48 hours and respond within one month.
